Hey all, I have a drawer full of unused gift cards from birthdays, holidays, and random promotions. I’ve always thought of them as small amounts of money, but I never really used them all. Is anyone else leaving money behind on gift cards? Any tips on how to maximize their value or make sure I don’t forget about them?

Another tip is to use gift cards as partial payment for larger purchases. For example, if you have a card with $10 left, and you're making a $50 purchase, use the $10 towards the total to reduce the amount you pay. This way, you maximize the value and don't let that small amount go to waste.
